Toyota is recalling 94,000 2011 Sienna minivans to fix defective brake lights, the automaker announced on Monday.

Early customers should see first cars this week in California, Texas, New York and Washington, DC.

Japanese automaker Mitsubishi has begun construction on a $525 million assembly plant outside Bangkok that will be the company’s third factory in Thailand. The new plant will build Mitsubishi’s new “global small” compact, beginning in March 2012.
